ODOEVTSEVA Irina Vladimirovna (real name Heinecke Iraida Gustavovna ) (1895-1990, Leningrad), poet, prose writer, author of memoirs. In 1918 she came to Petrograd. Attended lectures of the Institute of the Living Word (1918-21). Member of the third Petersburg Guild of Poets. The first publication (Dom Isskustva, № 2) appeared in 1921; in 1922 the first verse collection The Yard of Miracles was issued (Petrograd). In 1922 together with her husband, poet G. V. Ivanov, she left Russia. Lived in Paris, published poems and prose in an emigrant edition. The author of a number of popular novels, brilliant verse collections and plays (in French). Her memoirs On the Banks of the Neva (1967) and On the Banks of the Seine (1983) were the most popular. In 1987 she returned to Leningrad. In last years lived at 13 Nevsky Avenue. Buried at Literatorskie Mostki.
