PREDPORTOVAYA, a zone with industrial and storage facilities located between Kubinskaya Street, Dunaysky Avenue, Pulkovskoe Highway and Varshavskaya Railway Line. The name is derived from Portovaya Railway Station opened upon the completion of Yuzhnoe Rybatskoe - Avtovo - Morskoy Port Semicircle in 1929. In the early 1950s Predportovy Mill Plant was put in operation. In the 1960-70s numerous storage facilities were built. Predportovaya Street and the First Predportovy Passage and the Seventh Predportovy Passage traverse the territory of the zone.
