10 June. President of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR S.I. Vavilov cut the ribbon during the opening ceremony of the first exposition of the Museum of A.S. Pushkin which was placed in the Alexander Palace (the museum worked until 1951). Some rooms, including the room of A.S. Pushkin in the Lyceum on its 4th floor, were prepared for an exposition devoted to A.S. Pushkin.
