DERZHAVIN MUSEUM, Museum of Derzhavin and Russian Literature of his Time, 118 Fontanka River Embankment, a branch of Pushkin All-Russian Museum. It was opened in May 2003 in the main house of G.R. Derzhavin's estate, where the poet lived in 1791-1816. The exposition, set in sixteen halls, tells about literary and state work of Derzhavin, his family life, circle of contacts, meetings of the literary society known as “Russian Literature Amateur Club.” Interiors of Derzhavin’s time were recreated in four of the halls.
