Piskarevsky Forest Park

PISKAREVSKY FOREST PARK is located between Butlerova Street, Vernosti Street, Amurskaya Street and Nepokorennykh Avenue. The total area of the park is 116 hectares. The forest park was laid out in 1962 on the basis of a natural forest. The relief is flat. To the south of Nepokorennykh Avenue there is a flat ridge. Pine and birch dominate among the trees, with an age ranging from 30-80 years. There are also aspens, pussy-willows, thick underbrush of mountain ash, a lot of raspberry-bushes and native-grasses on the territory of the forest park. Drainage of the north-eastern park of the forest park was developed from 1938. Macadam and soil paths were made in the forest park. Forest vegetation contributes to settling of birds.
