MURZINKA, a locality enclosed by Zaporozhskaya Street, the Neva River, the Murzinka River and the railway line linking Obukhovo and Rybatskoe. The name originates from the grange (later to become a village) of Murzinka, which belonged to A.I. Rumyantsev and was named so in the 1720s after his estate in Kazan Province. Shlisselburgsky Trakt used to separate Murzinka from a small village of Bugorki. The area of Murzinka is mostly built up with industrial enterprises; the Medical Sanitary Station № 144 and the training centre of the Committee on Employment are located here. The name of the territory was kept in the name of the river and Murzinskaya Street.
