WARSAW BRIDGE, across the Obvodny Canal, parallel to Izmailovsky Avenue by the Warsaw Railway Station (hence the name). Built in 1869-70 on the location of the wooden beam bridge. The decking is made of steel with double-hinged arches with an open braced frame. The foundations are made of rubble concrete, faced with limestone plates and granite finishing with granite parapets. In 1908-10, the bridge was widened. Length: 38.2 metres, width: 30.6 metres.
