POPOV MEMORIAL MUSEUM (5 Professora Popova Street) was established in 1967 in the buildings of LETI Electrotechnical University (Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute). It unites the scholar’s laboratory and Popov’s Apartment Museum. The original interiors of the living room, the dining room, and the work study have survived in the five-room Apartment Museum. The flat is located in the House for Lecturers of Electrotechnical Institute designed by architect A. N. Vekshinsky. The collection numbers over 2,000 articles and objects. The museum laboratory was opened in 1948 in the former physical laboratory of the Electrotechnical Institute. The exhibition shows physical instruments, which belonged to Popov, his laboratory equipment, ship apparatuses of wireless telegraphy, and documents.
