TEATRALNY BRIDGE (Theatre Bridge, also known as Malo-Konyushenny Bridge, Troinoy, Trekharkovy), across Griboedova Canal, at the head of the Canal bу the Moika river. A three-span wooden drawbridge had been built here in 1769-81. In 1829-30, a cast-iron bridge was constructed (engineers E.A. Adam, V.K. Traitteur), which made up a single architectural-planning ensemble with Malo-Konyushenny Bridge (see Konyushenny Bridges). The bridge is about 23 metres long, 19 metres wide at the edges and 15.5 metres wide in the middle.
