IZVESTIYA ST. PETERSBURGOY GORODSKOY DUMY (News of St. Petersburg City Duma) (from July 1914 Izvestiya of Petrogradskoy Gorodskoy Dumy), the Izvestiya newspaper was the publication of the City Duma, published from 1863-1917 (from 1884 functioned as a daily newspaper, in 1917 as a monthly one). The editorial office was located in the City Duma building (33/1 Nevsky Prospect). It published the government's decrees and orders on city public administration issues, mayor's edicts, meeting reports and City Duma resolutions, as well as prices for goods and food products in the capital, auction announcements, and statistics. As newspaper supplement Duma commissions reports, books and brochures on municipal economy and administration were published (in 1901-10). The magazine publication was ceased shortly after October of 1917.
