BELOV Viktor Fedorovich (1911-1969, Leningrad), architect. Resided in St. Petersburg since 1913. Graduated from the College of Public Engineers (1936). His buildings of pre-war years are: residential houses in Avtovo and on Malaya Okhta, the school on 24 Mayakovskogo Street. Upon his arrival from the front-line1945, he worked at the Lenproject Institute, from 1950, the studio director; he restored the damaged houses on Petrogradskaya Side, in Kirovsky District, in Peterhof. He is the author of urban planning and construction projects for Karla Marxa Avenue (currently, Bolshoy Sampsonievsky Avenue), Engelsa Avenue, Lesnoy Avenue, Toreza Avenue, Svetlanovskaya Square; of the apartment building on 108 Bolshoy Sampsonievsky Avenue (1951-56); of the Oncology Institute in Pesochny village (1960); of the generic design of a cinema (1963-68); of the apartment house on 4 Petrovskaya Embankment ("Dvoryanskoe gnezdo", 1964).
