GUTUYEVSKAYA HARBOUR is an artificial rectangular Harbour (600x300 meters, 7 meters deep)located in the northern part of Gutuyev Island (hence the name). After its reconstruction during the building of the Morskoy Canal in 1874-75, the Morskoy Seaport was transferred to Gutuyevskaya Harbour. The Harbour opens to the Morskoy Canal through the Dinaburgsky Gates. Its banks were continuously reconstructed and reinforced. Several access roads and branch lines were brought to its berths.
